What's being tested

The PoC focuses on areas Retellect's platform already covers — accelerating non-barcoded product picklist selection and supporting loss prevention at the lane — running on the StrongPoint self-checkout hardware these stores already operate. The intent is to see how the AI layer behaves with real shoppers, real lighting and a real fresh-product assortment.

Why a PoC

A proof of concept lets all three sides see how the technology performs in this specific retailer's environment before any wider conversation. It keeps the project lightweight, measurable and reversible — focused on data and learning, not commitments.

Three-sided cooperation

The PoC builds directly on the existing Retellect–StrongPoint partnership. StrongPoint contributes the self-checkout platform and store-side integration, the retailer provides the live environment and operational input, and Retellect runs the AI layer on top.

What's next

The teams are collecting results across the participating Vilnius stores. Findings will inform whether and how the cooperation develops further.

Same self-checkout lanes, an additional AI layer on top — measured in real Vilnius stores.
