A first close-up for Baltic retailers

Retail Festival is the largest gathering of retail decision-makers in the Baltics, drawing executives and operations leads from across the region. For Retellect, it was the first chance to put the product directly in front of the people who run Baltic stores — not on a slide, but as a working demo on a real self-checkout lane.

What was on the lane

The demo was running on StrongPoint self-checkout hardware. Visitors could place fruits and vegetables on the scale and watch the AI recognise the product in well under a second — no scrolling through picklist menus, no staff calls.

Why it mattered

Standing next to a working lane, retailers could ask the questions that matter in the day-to-day: how it handles look-alike products, what changes for the cashier, what it takes to integrate. The event turned an explanation into a conversation — and several of those conversations led to the deployments that followed.
