The solution was demonstrated on a StrongPoint self-checkout terminal. Visitors could place fruit or vegetables on the scale and see the AI identify the product in less than a second.

A live demonstration for Baltic retailers

This was Retellect's first opportunity to demonstrate the technology directly to a broad group of Baltic retail professionals.

Visitors could test the system themselves and see how it could make product selection faster. Instead of searching through a long list on the checkout screen, the shopper received the most likely product options automatically.

Learning from real retail experience

The live demonstration also led to practical discussions with retailers. They asked how the system recognises similar products, how it affects store employees and what is needed to integrate it with existing self-checkout terminals.

These conversations gave Retellect a better understanding of retailer requirements and will help guide the next stage of product development.
